Phoenix Protective & Marine Coating Specialists can apply Intumescent coatings, a highly specialized form of passive fire protection (PFP) designed to delay the structural collapse of buildings in a fire, helping preserve structural integrity under extreme heat.
Intumescent coatings are primarily used on exposed I-beams, columns and hollow sections in high-occupancy commercial and industrial buildings. We specialise in shop application of these coatings prior to the erection of the treated structural steel.
