We offer our customers two ways to access our services:


  • Visit us at our Cairns facility: Our 2460m2 state-of-the-art purpose-built blasting and painting facility is complete with a 20m x 5m x 5m steel grit blast booth and 2 x 5t overhead
  • Let us come to you: Phoenix has multiple mobile site crews which make servicing North Queensland and the Torres Strait region efficient and effective.

About Us

Originally founded almost 40 years ago, Phoenix was revitalised in 2014 with new owners who were laser focused on high-quality workmanship, safety, transparency, documentation and reliability.


Since then, Phoenix Protective & Marine Coating Specialists has grown from a local Cairns operation into one of North Queensland’s most trusted names in surface preparation and protective coating services. Our mission is simple: deliver lasting protection for vital industrial and marine assets while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.
